White Rice Flour 500g

FG Roberts Gluten Free Wholegrain White Rice Flour has been steam stabilised to give an extended shelf life and is deliberately wholegrain to maximise dietary fibre and to retain all the minerals, vitamins and valuable fats contained in the bran and germ of the grain. Rice flour is a partial substitute for wheat flour, which causes irritation in the digestive systems of those who are gluten-intolerant or Coeliac.

Rice flour is also used as a thickening agent in recipes that are refrigerated or frozen since it inhibits liquid separation. This product can be used in general baking and in dusting benches when making bread to give an interesting crust and texture.
