Portobello & Caramelised Onion Burger Patties


  • 100gram Nature’s Meal
  • 100ml boiling water
  • 200gram diced portobello mushrooms
  • 100gram caramelised onion
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon vegetable salt


  1. Sauté the diced portobello mushrooms in a little butter or oil until soft and coloured
  2. All dry ingredients to a bowl and mix together
  3. Add the sauteed mushrooms and caramelised onion and boiling water to the dry ingredients and mix well to combine
  4. With damp hands, shape into 4-6 burger patties (depending on desired size)
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before grilling
