Mabel’s chocolate Cake Mix


  • 450g Mabel’s Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup oil (vegetable, canola etc – do not use Olive oil)
  • ½ cup of water


  1. Preheat oven to 175°c
  2. Grease 18cm cake tin with a little oil or butter and line with baking paper
  3. Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Place in oven and bake for 38 minutes – skewer should display slight adhesion for a nice moist cake

Tip: Allow to cool in a tin or container for a better moisture retention
