Double Chocolate Donut


  • 250g donut mix
  • 225ml water
  • 50g melted butter
  • Tablespoon cocoa
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Ingredients for filling

  • Chocolate Crème Patisserie (thick chocolate custard)
  • Melted milk chocolate
  • Crushed pistachios


  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  2. Spray donut hole pan with canola oil
  3. In a bowl stir together with a spatula/wooden spoon the donut mix, cocoa, cinnamon and the water until well combined
  4. Add in the melted butter and stir until well combined
  5. Pour into prepared pan
  6. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes at 200 degrees. Donuts are cooked when they are springy to touch.
  7. When cooked, turn out of pan on to cake rack to cool
  8. Once cool, cut donuts in half and pipe chocolate custard onto cut sections and place back together
  9. Melt chocolate and drizzle over the top and finish with crushed pistachios
