Asian inspired Patties - Mushroom, Water Chestnut and Spring Onion
- 100g Natures Meal dry mix
- 80ml boiling water or stock
- 20ml Xiao Xing Chinese cooking wine
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp chilli or sweet chilli sauce
- 2 finely chopped brown or shiitake mushrooms
- 3-4 finely chopped water chestnuts (these add a fantastic texture!)
- 1cm finely grated ginger or 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 clove finely grated garlic or 1 tsp garlic paste
- 2-3 storks finely chopped spring onion
- chopped fresh coriander to taste (optional)
- Pour boiling water and cooking wine over dry mix and combine.
- Add remaining ingredients and combine well.
- Form patties or smaller meat ball sized portions.
- Cook in a pan, under a grill or on a BBQ.
