Gluten Free Bread Making
with Genuine Flexible Dough...
Our NEW Gluten Free Cottage Bread Mix is now launched and available. This new
FG Roberts product is ideally suited to home and commercial ovens. It may also produce reasonable results in home bread machines.

It's the perfect gluten free mix for high-top loaves, vienna style loaves, pizza bases, baguettes, rolls and buns.

FG Roberts Cottage Bread Mix is gluten free, dairy free, nut free, egg free, potato free, sesame free, high in fibre, low in fat, has no added cane sugar and is Kosher and Halal certified. And you have the confidence in knowing that like all FG Roberts products, it's made in Australia.

15 years of research
We are proud to offer our NEW genuine gluten free dough based bread mix to the world… the result of some 15 years of research and over 800 trial loaves.

It is designed to give very good results for both commercial and home-based bakers. Our greatest compliment from our non-coeliac 'guinea pigs' has been the comment...
“I can’t believe it is not made with wheat!”

As our mix forms a genuine flexible dough rather than a batter, it can be formed into countless shapes for numerous applications. An advantage it has over a gluten based dough is that its a short mix and requires just one rise before baking a very light, soft and flexible bread.

The process involves a quick mix and mould, a single rise, and a bake.

This is what you get:
  • simple to make… all you need is FG Roberts Cottage Loaf Mix, a spoon, a bowl, some yeast, oil, white vinegar and an oven
  • very versatile… produces high top loaves, rolls, buns, vienna style loaves, pizzas, focaccias etc
  • healthy to eat… dairy free, nut free, egg free, high fibre, low fat and no cane sugar
  • tastes like 'normal' bread… non-coeliacs genuinely enjoy the taste
  • light and stretchy… can wrap it around a sausage and it will not crumble
  • keeps well… great for sandwiches even on day 2
  • very cost competitive.

The real test of a good gluten free bread is whether a non-coeliac would happily choose to eat it.
Check out the criteria for great bread we used to determine if this can happen and compare these to your current gluten-free bread.
